Cambridge Industrial Archaeology Group studies and records our local industrial heritage. We meet at Cambridge Museum of Technology where we host our talks programme, which embraces industries from across the world, from earliest times to the present day. We host industrial-heritage walks along routes to and from the Museum of Technology. We are affiliated to the Association of Industrial Archaeology.

We have designed some tools to help you to find out more about the industrial heritage which is all around us. Take a self-guided walk/cycle ride and follow one of our trails, or find out more about a particular place or structure with our gazetteer.

Both of these tools are constantly being developed so check back for new trails and the latest additions to our gazetteer regularly! The Museum’s events’ calendar lists forthcoming guided walks of Cambridge’s industrial heritage.
