Christmas is coming early to the print shop! Join our volunteers for your chance to see presses in action. As well as being able to see printing presses and paraphernalia dating from the 1820s to the late 20th century, you’ll have the chance to print your own Christmas card to take home.
This presentation will explore the historical and archaeological traces of Cambridgeshire’s cement industry in the 1880s, and follow the process of manufacturing Portland cement from quarry to kiln.
