A garden party hosted by the Cambridge Museum of Technology on 4 July 2016 welcomed patrons, founders, members, volunteers and guests from the neighbourhood to look back to the founding of the museum in the 1960s to preserve the industrial heritage of Cambridge, and ahead to the revitalisation of the museum and the Engineer's House.
Many people have wondered about the fate of the handsome, but sadly neglected, house beside the Cambridge Museum of Technology. The Engineer's House was an integral part of the original site. The Engineer's House is to be reunited with the Cambridge Museum of Technology to create an exciting new community space for research, exhibitions and education.
